About the guest:

Sarah Le Quang Sang is a London-based Franco-Vietnamese gallerist and artist. Her personal journey, defined by resilience and reinvention, shapes her steadfast mission to found SLQS Gallery dedicated to programming diverse intergenerational women and queer artists.  

‍

With a background in business and theatre, Le Quang Sang came to her multi-disciplinary art practice in her mid to late 30s. Arriving at Goldsmiths to study Performance Making, it was from this moment onwards that Le Quang Sang gained greater awareness of the gender-based inequalities so deeply woven into the art world. Inspired to create more ways for artist mothers to have a voice while she was studying, Le Quang Sang became co-Director of Procreate Project, a nonprofit championing artist mothers, and co-curated and produced the first Mother Art Prize and Oxytocin: Birthing the World, a programme exploring motherhood and caregiving.

After studying at Acting International in Paris (2000-2001), Le Quang Sang read International Business, Finance, and Economics at the University of Manchester (2001-2004) before completing her MA in Performance Making at Goldsmiths (2016-2018).
