Special Guest
Vicki Wonfor

Special guest Vicki Wonfor, Joint Managing Director at Rosebery’s London, joins us to discuss her journey through the art market, the importance of relationships to develop in the art world and staying ahead of change in the market.

“I strived to want to do more and I could see the industry changing around me. If you’re a driven person, you need that stimulus, that constant change and growth, and that keeps you wanting to do your job. This was important for me because I had a platform and someone who was supporting me, there was no reason not to.”

Vicki joined Roseberys in 2009 initially as a VIP client administrator. When an opportunity arose, Vicki joined the picture department where she trained to become a specialist and auctioneer concentrating particularly on the areas of Modern British, 20th Century Art and Sculpture.

Throughout her time at Roseberys Vicki has concentrated on the growth and the expansion of the business taking a more active role in this field in 2013 at which point she became a director of the company and more recently was appointed Joint Managing Director in 2018.

In this week’s podcast, we explore her journey through the art world and all the different steps that led her to where she is today. Vicki’s experience is undoubtedly useful to anyone interested in working in the art world.
