Starting out - without the money to buy works by great artists - if Philip Mould couldn’t afford work by Gainsborough or Van Dyck he would find one. Some 30 years later, this single-minded focus and unique approach - born out of necessity and fuelled by passion - has seen Philip become synonymous with ‘sleepers’: the discovery of lost or unknown works of art. Today from the gallery in Pall Mall - and through the BBC series Fake or Fortune - the art dealing broadcaster and his team - delight in sharing the ‘big stories’ about important works that captivates an art loving public.

In the days when you could park infact! You know, and she would park outside the shops having identified something outside the window and I would then go in to bring it out to her....
